Another day, Another nightmare. This was what every day started as for anyone within Calous now a days. Wake up and kill some beasts. It was the only way to earn any kind of currency around here now. Though Daniel didn't like the fact that he was out in the streets of the city without a proper weapon. Why he had to use up all his ammunition on that horde was beyond him. He would soon find himself venturing towards the closest building around, the hospital. His only thought being that he could find an easy weapon with some medication for anyone in the Bunker. Maybe he'll get lucky and find a survivor as well.

The front entrance to the hospital looked as if the entire place was ransacked by the monsters. The doors were apparently ripped out and thrown across the lobby with the glass shattered into pieces about the bloody floor. The walls were covered in the blood and about the area were remenants of corpses after being eaten by whatever killed them. The stench from the rotting meat already filled his nose causing him to feel sick. No training could prepare anyone for this. Daniel choked down his sickness and passed onward towards the reception desk which was covered in the guts of the possible nurse residing over it. Looking towards the double doors that possibly lead to the emergency area, Daniel thought that he should find something to defend himself before he went through those doors.

Heading around the desk, Dan would try to find anything that he could use against whatever awaited him.

The hospital was more of a place of merciless execution than a place for aiding the sick. Nearly all of the patients would have been slaughtered without any means to defend themselves. Most walls and floors of this horrific place were blood stained and the stench of dead bodies was overwhelming. This was quite possibly the worse place for dead bodies in the whole city. You couldn't even walk down a hall way without having step over a corpse or two.

Still, the survivors had to get medical supplies from somewhere, so, it was still one place that a lot of them came to. Most of the useful medicinces and suplies they'd need would have already been scavenged, but rumor has it that a ghost roams the hallways at night; most would assume this to be nothing more than a scary story, but now that myths and legends have come to be reality, perhaps it was true. And so, a lot of survivors didn't dare to venture too far into the Hospital, perhaps there was more to be found... If you dared to face the horrors within.

One man appeared to be searching here - alone. After entering, he did the smart thing of searching the area, making his first stop behind the reception desk. As he went round, he found himself looking down at a nurse and nothing much else. Well, half a nurse actually. She'd been torn completely in two; her hips and waist mssing and her guts across the carpet in a pool of her own blood. Suddenly her eyes shifted, quickly darting to stare at Dan. She then immediately reached out to grab his leg, her mouth wide open preparing to chomp on it if she could grab him before he moved...

Upon looking behind the reception desk, Daniel found the body of the nurse that would have been sitting in a chair giving directions and taking medical emergencies down for a doctor to look at. Now she looked like she needed a doctor herself or a priest as her entire body was ripped in half. All that Dan could see that was somewhat intact was from her chest up with guts being the only thing that was connected to it. He only wished that whatever did this wasn't here and that this nurse didn't start moving as he knew it would.

At that moment, the corpses eye flickered towards Dan. His hypothesis was right, she was a zombie. She started to move, slowly bringing up her arm to try and grab him with mouth agap. He wasn't going to let a zombie take anything from him especially one that was only half of what it used to be. Her movement made more blood trickle into the already soaked carpet as she struggled to catch her prey.

Dan only had to step back a bit to keep at arms length from the undead nurse. He then thought of his Marines training. How his drill instructors taught everyone in his platoon the basics of MCMAP (Marine Corps. Martial Arts Program). He could hear them yelling the commands for every single one. While still looking at the nurse, he envisioned his instructor yelling "Execute". In one swift movement, Dan was in the standard MCMAP fighting position which was similar to a boxing position while saying under his breath "Kill". "Attack" was the next thing that went through his mind. This commanded him to bring his right leg back and with his entire body, kick the nurse aiming at the head. The kick was also followed up by a dead stomp to finish.

Zombies being probably the slowest and least intelligent monsters known to man, it wasn't surprising that the nurse didn't even have time to react after missing the grab. Dan's foot slammed into the woman's face, with a spray of blood slung out of her mouth upon impact. She then flopped flat onto the floor making small groaning sounds and her arms twitching. But after a huge stomp on her head accompanied by a loud crack, all movement ceased. Dead.

There was nothing of use behind the desk, only tattered medical files, most of which were now illegible.

Though, Dan's attention would probably be averted though, as the bizarre sound of a horse's foot steps could be heard slowly growing closer, pacing down the hallway just through the same doors that Dan had spotted a few seconds ago...

Zombie Killed - 1BP Awarded

Dan had smashed the nurses head in with his stomp. The resulting crack resonated throughout the lobby. That would only bring trouble in Daniels book of things he shouldn't of done. But he still needed a weapon of some sort so after the creature was finally dead, Dan looked through out the area behind the desk but only found medical reports and files all strewn out on the floor. Possibly from the chaos that had caused the poor nurse her death. Though his fellow soldiers have told him that a few areas of the hospital were picked clean for anything useful. "Thanks guys" he would say to himself.

Before he could think of anything else, his attention finally came to a sound that seemed to come from the other side of the emergency doors. Listening more closely, they seemed like horse hooves. Dan didn't think there would be any horses around these parts unless it wasn't one. This was probably another monster, something that he definately didn't want to stare down. Again he searched but still found nothing that could be used as an easy weapon.

He searched around more and found a door behind the desk. This would probably lead him to more zombies, but he could make due with a zombie or two. What he didn't want was to face something that he didn't have any way to kill. Daniel would go for the door hopefully before whatever made that sound came through those double doors.

Carefully, Dan opened the door with a fist at the ready.

Upon entering, the door was forced to push the leg of a corpse out of the way on the other side. Another laid beside it, face down with what appeared to be a bullet hole going straight through from it's forehead. With further inspection it would seem that the other patient had also been shot, a couple to the chest and one to the head as well. Common sense would tell Dan that these were formally flesh eating Zombies like the one behind the reception desk. And with only one other body in the room, a soldier with a Glock in his hand, I'm sure you don't need to be a detective to work out what happened here.

Though, it would seem that the soldier had died recently, the blood down his chest was fresh. And, probably to Dan's surprise, it wasn't zombies that had gotten to him, he seemed to have done a good job defending himself from those. But a wooden arrow had pierced through his chest, probably his heart too, clearly the fatal wound. As for the handgun, Daniel could see that the chamber was empty and there was no magazine inside. He could either take this and stock up ammo when he got back to the Bunker, or try his luck to something else that he could use straight away.

It was likely that the bodies and the weapon were Dan's first concern, but having seen them, observing the room would leave him with nothing much else. This appeared to be where a lot of medicenes and pills were stored; most of the shelves were empty, however, a few empty bottles laid about the place, and the only packs of tablets left were simple vitamins and a couple of packs of Paracetamol. Worst of all, there no other exits. And with the sound of the emergency room doors swinging open catching Dan's attention, he'd have to think of something...

Daniel opened the door to feel a resistance against it. With a bit of a push, he forced whatever was behind it to move. To his amazement, the room has some illumination which gave him clear view of the entire surface area which had no exits other than the door he was in. Looking behind the door, he found a corpse which had been shot in the head. Next to it was another with several other shots but still one to the brain. Someone else was here besides him it seemed. It wasn't until Dan looked to the other side of the room did he realize that this wasn't the case anymore.

Across the room was a body with standard camo on it with an arrow sticking out of it. This wasn't what he wanted to see. Dan walked over to the body to look at it more carefully. The body was formerly a soldier that he was working with. "Dammit.. Hoskins..." Daniel, Hoskins, and two others were assigned to find any medical supplies that were left in the hospital. Hoskins split the team up to track more ground and, incase anything happened, be able to still have a team get to their destination. Daniels partner died during the zombie ambush that made him lose his M16A4. If Hoskin's was dead here, then his partner probably met a similar fate or is wandering the place on his own.

Dan looked at Hoskins handgun which he saw was already useless. The slider was all the way back showing that the gun jammed as it didn't have another bullet to fire. Also the magazine was on the floor next to it. All signs meant that Hoskins was shooting at something until he got the bolt through his heart. Poor guy had to feel it throughout too.

After looking at the bodies, Dan searched the rest of the room as quickly as possible. The results were only a few vitamins and acetaminaphen pills. These weren't going to help him or the Bunker unless someone had a headache. After a few seconds his attention would be averted to what he didn't want.

The emergency doors could be heard opening from the lobby. This wasn't good at all. Looking at the body of Hoskins, he quickly came up with something. Daniel would try to pull the arrow out of Hoskins' body so that he could have a pseudo-stabbing weapon and then peek out the side of the door to see what had come out.

Pulling the arrow from his fallen ally's corpse seemed a little brutal, but, self preservation is a strong motivator. Survival was the only thing on most people's minds these days, and no one could blame them. With a nasty sound of the arrow being pulled back through his body, Daniel removed the wooden arrow. The tip was metal and not particularly well made, but sharp enough to penetrate flesh with enough force. Now with the blood stained arrow in hand, Dan took a look round the door...

It became apparent that the soldier was right, although the beast had hooves, it was not a horse. Well, it was half horse, and the other half appeared to be human. Taking slow and prideful steps, the Centaur seemed to parade across the room, as if it were showing off it’s sleek brown fur and muscular top half. In one hand was a wooden short bow, the other with an arrow placed ready, all he’d need to do was pull back to fire. Though, he was yet to see Dan, of course, it’d only be a matter of time before it did as it was heading to pass the reception desk in just a few seconds…

Blood spurted one last time as Dan pulled the arrow out of Hoskins' body. "I'm sorry my friend." He checked the tip to find that it was dulled but still worthy of a stab or two. Then he peered through the door to find that the hoove sounds were in fact hooves. A centaur was seen walking proudly through the lobby. It knew that something was making noise and was at the ready with bow in hand and arrow noched. This guy must of been the one to kill Hoskins.

Daniel didn't know much of anything about centaurs, but he did know a bit of horses and humans. The most important for horses, never be caught behind them. And with a human, Dan already knew many ways to kill one let alone half of one. Seeing that the centaur was going to pass the desk he formulated a little plan. Of course, he would have to sacrifice a bit to do it.

Dan put the arrow through his belt then carried Hoskins' body towards the door. His plan to make the centaur think that Hoskins was still alive was a bit idiotic, but he wanted that thing to fire an arrow at the body to give Daniel enough time to jump off the desk, get on the things back and plung the arrow through its jugular vein. If not.... he would have to take the arrow himself and try to choke the blood from it instead. Either way, the thing wouldn't be able to last maybe 15 seconds from blood loss or oxygen deprevation from the blood. Hopefully, Dan can pull off a 16 second ride.

"Hoskins" moved to the door way with Dan calling out as he held hoskins making him look like he was slowly walking out. "Oy Mate! Ya haven't killed me yet!!"

With the sound of a voice and movement in the door way, multi-race beast turned and pulled up the bow, releasing the arrow by instinct rather than actually seeing what it was before shooting. However, the marksman skill of the Centaur was displayed outstandingly well. Even with only a split second to aim, the arrow flew through the air and smashed into Hoskins' skull. Obviously, since he was dead already it made no difference, but it was a bit of an accidental warning to Dan; the monster had a perfect shot!

Now though, with one shot fired, the Centaur had to draw another from the quiver on his back. But by the time it had, Dan had leaped across from the desk and landed on it’s horse back with an arrow slammed into it’s neck. The plan was a success so far. However, Dan could only hang on for a second before the Centaur flung him off with a strange hop, flinging it’s backside up at a diagonal. This left Dan being tossed across the room a couple of feet, currently heading for the floor face first, unless he put his arms out to catch himself.

Though, that wasn’t going to be the worst of his problems. The Centaur screamed out with pain, one hand holding the arrow in it’s neck, but this wasn’t going to stop it fighting back in it’s last few seconds of life. Before Dan had time to get to his feet, the beast lifted it’s front half to stand on two legs, swinging it’s legs a little so that it would be hard for the soldier to tell where it’s hooves were going to land when it tried to slam them down on him…

Having his plan work to the hit seemed alright to Daniel. He didn't think that it could buck itself that hard though. Flying through the air gave him time to brace his face for impact as he brought up his arms. Upon hitting the floor, Dan skidded a bit giving him a bit of a burn from the floor. Looking to back to see if he was successful enough to get another hit in gave him the split second decision to roll out of the way as the beasts hooves tried to crush him. "Only a few more moments to go" he said as he got up.

Decision making was all that was left to Daniel. He knew this thing still had enough energy to pull out another arrow and kill him as fast as lightning. His thoughts then turned towards the quiver itself. If he could get back on it somehow, grab the arrows and either throw them all to the ground or use them, he would be able to safe guard himself from being a shishkabob. His plan took the discarding as he wouldn't be able to stab all of them in time though he didn't know how well he would be able to.

Then Dan remembered Hoskins behind the desk. He had another arrow through his head. If Dan could run over, jump the desk, break the front part off, and use the same tactic again to plunge another into the arteries, then he would have a sure fire kill. This plan had pros and cons as well. The desk could give him cover while he broke the arrow off, but the centaur would probably never fall for the same thing twice.

With nothing else to figure, Dan ran towards the Centaur's side and tried jumping on its back again but to this time take the arrows from its quiver to stall any damage done to him.

Riding the Centaur again? Maybe not a good move to do the same tactic twice in fight. However, this time as the half horse tried to throw him off with wild jumps, it couldn't quite get the same force behind it as before, weakening from the wound; in fact, it was beginning to get dizzy and and it's sight was blurring. If Dan noticed this, he would see that the creature only had a few seconds left in this world.

Though it made one final attempt to injure it's killer, though likely to be successful with Daniel distracted by the bucking, it wouldn't do any drastic damage. Just before the Centaur gave in, continuing to shake around as much as it could, it swung it's right arm back to elbow Dan in the side of the head, not once but twice. By the time it had finished, it's vision had faded to darkness, it's body then going numb. It couldn't hold out any longer. The monster fell down, slowly passing away...

In the shadows, not too far from Dan, Amy sat watching. Her breathing slow and steady, hidden perfectly in the dark, neither Dan nor the Centaur knew about her presence in the room. She had only just turned up and found the fight in the reception; Amy decided to watch and not get involved unless she felt it was necessary and so far the marine had handled himself quite well. He had managed to deliver a devastating blow to the Centaur’s neck and evaded the beast’s skull crushing stomp.

He then jumped back up on the horse, it then started to buck again trying to knock him off. It even tried to elbow him in the head twice. The beast then fell to the floor in a heap as it bleed to death, losing its life slowly from the wound in its neck.

“At ease soldier,”

A distorted and slightly mocking voice called from the shadows, a figure then emerged from the darkness with an axe in their right hand. Lifting the weapon and placing it on their shoulder the figure then placed their empty left hand on their hip.

“Well that was a very impressive display,”

The female watched the soldier from behind a pair of orange tinted mirrored goggles. A gas mask sat over her nose and mouth and a hood over her head, lifting her left arm she then pulled her hood down to reveal her bright ginger hair. Her hand then took hold of her mask and removed it from her face so that it was hanging around her neck. Finally she lifted her goggles to her forehead to reveal her face to the man in front of her.

“You here for some medical supplies too?”

After getting on the beast one last time, he slightly forgot his plan as to instead try to hang on. The mighty centaur was at its end, however, and didn't have enough energy to get him off. With the last of its strength it tried to elbow Daniel in the head twice. The first didn't connect do to the slight bucking; Dan didn't dodge the second one causing him to fall off the centaur and hit the ground hard. The beast took its final breath as it crumbled to the ground. Dan was oblivious to this as he was disoriented from the knock to the head.

Before he could shake it off, however, he heard something coming from nearby. It sounded like a voice from a human being. Getting up was Daniels only concern though as his head was still swimming. Looking up, he found that the voice came from a girl with what looked like an axe. Dan heard her comment and sighed while holding his head.

"Yeah.. Well now I know why I don't like horses.. heh"

The girl took off her hood, goggles, and mask to reveal her to be rather good looking. Daniel shook his head to get his mind straight. After finally getting to his feet, she asked if he was here for the medical supplies.

"Well since you know... either you're back-up.. or you were with Hoskins before his 'kabobfest'.."

Dan pointed towards the desk to point out where Hoskins was while he walked over to it. Jumping over the desk, Dan landed in the nurses blood then headed back into the other room to grab the handgun and magazine. He already knew that nothing could hurt him as all the bodies were disposed of properly (brains destoryed). Coming out of the room, he slided the magazine back in place and pulled the slider back to unlock it. It still couldn't be used, but Hoskins' has been quite generous lately. He snickered as he put the gun in his jacket pocket.

"Unless you wanna hack and slash all night long, you might wanna grab that things bow and arrows cause I'm not"

The man was clearly confused after his blow to the head; he gazed up at Amy as he clambered to his feet again. Amy looked over to the dead Centaur after Dan’s comment about horses then looked back over to him as he asked if she was back up.

"I’m not you’re back-up and I haven’t got a clue who Hoskins is…”

Amy called over as the soldier jumped behind the desk. She then walked over to the Centaur’s heaped corpse and looked down at its pool of blood; her reflection looked back at her in the crimson puddle that was spreading out across the ceramic floor tiles.

"Unless you wanna hack and slash all night long, you might wanna grab that things bow and arrows cause I'm not"

"It’s not of any use anymore…”

Kicking the bow to the side it was apparent that the wood had snapped, the Centaur must have landed on it and broke it; shame, it would have been useful for keeping distance from enemies. Turning back to face the soldier Amy took a little bow, placing her left arm in front of her near her stomach and her right arm behind her back with the axe still in hand.

"The name’s Amy,”

She then stood up straight and a little smiled slid across her face.

"And what might your name be soldier?”

Amy asked then looked around the room, keeping her attention to anything the soldier said whilst she searched for any obvious signs of more monsters or possible places for medication to be stored. Her eyes zipped around, but it was obvious everything had been taken already.

When Daniel learned that this girl didn't know anything other than the slight chance of more medication inside, he cursed under his breath. Not only did he have someone MIA, but he also had a civilian on his hands. Though he didn't mind the company, he'd rather not have anyone hurt from anything that happened. His mission had to be completed, however, and this girl seemed on her toes which meant that he didn't have to do much as to her well being.

Dan watched as the girl introduced herself with a little bow. Not what he expected but he now knew her name. She then asked for his name. Daniel curled his fingers into a fist then let the index and middle fingers out straight before giving a lame salute back to her with them.

"Lance Corporal, Daniel Urden.. Just call me Dan"

He walked over to the double doors where the centaur came from. Everything past here would be much harder. Too bad that gun didn't have any ammunition. Dan motioned Amy towards the door.

"Since you're here we might as well help each other seeing that our goal is the same"

Dan looked at the door put a hand on it.

"Lets get whatever we can find before anything else brings its ugly head around"

Amy nodded to acknowledge Dan after his offer to join forces to gain medical supplies. Amy moved over to the double doors and pressed her back against the other door, giving another little nod she signalled Dan to open the door. Amy pushed her body through and turned as she did so that in one fluid motion she opened the door and kept moving into the once white hallway. The lights on the ceiling flickered and the lights further down the hall stayed off all together making it impossible to see all the way down the hall as it faded into a black abyss. Blood covered the walls, ceiling and floor in places, even beds where sat in the hallway with blood soaked sheets; but no corpses, this was never a good sign. If there was all this blood then people died… and in Callous the dead often just got up and ate the living.

Amy cautiously walked down the hall until the first room, placing her back against the wall she then reached to the door handle and twisted it slowly trying not to cause any noise. Amy gently pushed the door open and peered inside before moving into the room. Inside empty beds lay perfectly straight and blood covered the walls behind each and the pillows; from what Amy had seen of monsters she tried to figure out what it could have been. Werewolves and Minotaurs would have left blood everywhere and bed would have been thrown around the room, Hell hounds would have burnt things, Zombies and Skeletons would have left corpses, so that left Vampires. A Vampire would have bitten into the necks of the patients causing the blood stained pillows, and a Vampire’s feeding habits are nothing like in films; they tear at the flesh with their fangs to sever the jugular so that explained the blood on the wall behind the beds. As for the lack of corpses, the Vampire would have resurrected them to turn them into a small undead army to do their bidding. Amy only hopped that the Vampire had left the hospital.

“Dan, we may have an issue,”

Amy whispered then looked around the room for anything of use as she continued to talk to Dan,

“From what I have seen in the past and what is in this room, we may have a Vampire on our hands. It is the only thing I can think of that could cause that sort of blood splatter up the wall, ”

She still kept her voice low as she searched just in case anything was still in the room and she didn’t want to give away their position…

At the same time, Dan opened his door though not as cautiously as Amy. Everything that he thought a hospital would be was now something of a horror movie. Everything from the floor to the ceiling was covered in blood. Even the stretchers and beds were also covered in the red dye of death. Looking down any farther than a few meters was impossible with the only lights on being a couple near the entrance. If they wanted to go any farther, they would need a light. This seemed typical for a post-massacre scene except for one thing, corpses. No bodies were anywhere in sight. This ment more hell later on but this would have to wait.

Amy motioned next to the first door and went inside; Daniel would then follow behind while watching the hall one last time before heading inside himself. This seemed to be a room for recovery except for the splatters of blood that tainted the walls and pillows of the room. Dan was quite perplexed that the room was cleaner than the previous area.

Upon hearing that they might have an issue, Dan immediately looked back at the door thinking something might be coming. Amy said something about a vampire might be in the building. Relieved somewhat but not so much as to let his guard down, Daniel walked over towards on of the beds. The soldiers talked about vampires and that they could summon up the dead. If this was true then the zombies from before would also confirm what Amy said. They had a blood sucker on their hands.

"Sounds like you've been around the block a few times if you can figure something like that out"

Her knowledge of how this scene showed that she knew more about these creatures than he did. All he knew was how to kill and what to look out for. Dan didn't have much forensic reasoning to deduce any creature before hand. Though he could say that any area with blood was trouble for them.

"Do you have any plan for taking care of our undead host then?"

Daniel tried looking around the area opposite of Amy to cover more ground. Maybe he could find something that would actually be useful other than some headache medicine and a gun that can't be used.

With every step the two took further into the hospital, the more danger they were in, proceeding deeper into a Vampire’s trap. In fact, it was already watching them. The creature stood at the end of the hall in the darkness, remaining still and without breathing, they’d never know it was there. Well, not until it wanted them to anyway.

For now though, it remained hidden and simply pointed it’s finger down the hallway without a word. As it did, two zombies came through an open doorway to it’s right, and another from the hall to it’s left. The three animated corpses stumbled down the darkened hallway, just passing under the flickering lights. If the two didn’t hear their unorthodox groans, they’d notice the four fingered hand that grasped the door frame to pull itself round the door. The Zombie wore a surgeon’s attire and held a scalpel in the hand. As it tripped into the room, the monster limply swung the scalpel at Dan.

The other two staggered in straight after, one a patient, but the other wearing a casual attire of jeans a long sleeved shirt. Both of which went straight for Amy with outstretched arms to grab her, blood filled mouths open and ready to munch whatever part of her body they could get…

Daniel could hear the groans and moans that went bump in the night. Quick to turn about and face his foe, Dan felt a quick, sharp pain through his face. Blood drooled upon his face as the scalpel had cut into his cheek. He quickly jumped back into one of the beds. This thing had just cost him something of his own and he didn't quite like that. Getting off of the blood soaked pillow, Daniel looked at his attacker. Another zombie that had a surgeons gown on. Someone he would have called friend as this thing would take out a bullet for him if it was alive. This, however, wasn't the case anymore as it seemed like the former living being was now aiming another swing at him.

"We have company!"

Quickly, Daniel ducked under the maneuver and proceeded to grab the arm. Keeping his grip on the creature would bring it to bite him if he didn't do something fast. Taking the wrist of the zombie in hand to keep it from slashing him some more, Dan took it upon himself to grab the zombies throat while pushing back at the same time as knocking away its supporting leg to make it fall to the ground. As he learned from his teammates; "A grounded zombie, will soon be redead". This would be enough though as simply getting it to the ground would still allow it to get back up. So a few punchs to the cranium would follow.

Amy turned towards the door as the corpses began to stumble through; they weren’t exactly the stealthiest of monsters with their continuous groaning as they took each step. The reanimated corpses split off, one went after Dan, and the other two went for Amy. As the zombies came towards her with their arms out trying to grab anything to bite, Amy stepped back with her right foot to get a better stance then held the axe in both hands over her right shoulder. She then took a mighty horizontal swing towards both of the undead; aimed around their stomach area.

Looking over Amy saw Dan being operated on by the dead surgeon, looked like Dan was getting a free face lift as blood trickled down his cheek. Although she wanted to try and help him, Amy had problems of her own. She started to move back with the corpses still moving towards her, taking the stance again she swung higher this time aiming for their throats to either behead them or just cause another large gash in their flesh. If she hit one and it didn’t lose its head she would then try and knock them down with a trip and then slam the axe down into their skull…

With the scent of flesh blood escaping from the cut in Dan's cheek, everyone of the Zombies turned their heads towards him, now completely ignoring Amy. Because of this, Amy's strike wasn't even seen coming; they took the full force of the axe swing, a huge gash tearing through their stomachs, each of the falling back with their guts falling out in complete synchronization. They both landed with a simultaneous thud.

Meanwhile, Daniel took complete control over the Zombie, forcing it to the floor with ease, it barely even struggling. And, while downed, it took the full power of repeated blows to the head. A small crack sounded after a few shots, but it still didn't stop moving, and instead, turned to face it's assailant and opened it's mouth to try and bite him regardless. It's front teeth shattered but would've scratched his knuckles open...

Amy seemed to have more luck killing her share of the monsters. With them both on the ground, presumably she'd skip to the axe slamming technique. The scratched blade of the axe crashed through the patient's face, splashing blood out of it's mashed face. The strike completely obliterated it's brain and killing the creature. But before she'd have time to pull the axe back out and swing again, the other Zombie sat up and fell forwards to grab hold of her leg and try to take a bite out of her shin...

With the mindless corpses distracted Amy managed to rip open both the zombies’ abdomens and even kill one with a perfectly executed strike to the forehead. But the other zombie had grabbed her leg and pulled itself towards her to bite her leg, its teeth moved closer to her shin. Reaching down Amy grabbed the zombie’s hair and pulled it back so that the dead eyes looked up at hers. The corpse’s hair then started to pull from its scalp as the zombie kept moving its mouth towards Amy. Amy then dropped her axe on to the floor next to her and leant forward to grab the zombie’s head with both hands; one under the jaw and the other on the top of its head, this helped to keep the zombie’s mouth shut. She then twisted it to the right before giving it a sharp twist to the left in an attempt to break the things neck.

Amy pushed the zombie back giving it a few quick punches and then grabbed her axe again; lifting it above her head she then slammed it down to the zombie’s head, just to make sure that the thing was truly dead… again…

Turning towards Dan, Amy watched as he fought with the surgeon. Mounted over the zombie, Dan repeatedly punched the reanimated corpse in the face, again and again. The thing then opened its mouth to try and bite Dan, its teeth shattered after another mighty punch from the solider. Amy dropped the axe to the floor and kicked it across the floor towards Dan.

“Use this!”

She shouted as the axe slid across the cold floor rotating slightly so that the handle was facing Dan, this would make killing the zombie easier and save Dan anymore injuries to his knuckles…

After a few punches, the undead surgeon opened its hungry mouth to take a bite out of his fist. This didn't turn out as well for the zombie as Daniels punch broke the teeth in the process but still scraped his hand up enough to draw more blood. If Dan kept this up any longer he would have to take a blood transfusion himself. Before he could try anything else, Amy shouted at him while sliding her axe across the floor.

Daniel jumped off of the zombie and rolled next to the axe. Upon picking it up, Dan found himself slowly stepping towards the creature. He was definately irritated at this point and seemed as though he had gone mad. He finally came over to the living dead that was now trying to grab at him. With blood to pay, Daniel brought the axe above his head with both hands. He could see the soulless eyes staring upon him. Before the creature could bring its mouth open again, Daniel had brought the axe down with all his might onto the undeads head.

Dan would stand there calming himself before taking the axe back up and performing any clean up duty. He would be fine as long as that thing was dead or until he stopped bleeding.

Both Zombies fell completely under the two survivors' will, not with the strength to fight back. With the axe being passed around, both Zombies were decimated by a swing of the blade to the head.

Amy was left unharmed, though being better equipped than Dan, it's not surprising.

Fortunately, the scrape to Daniel's knuckles wasn't bad, only a tiny trickle of blood on his hand. His cheek was a little worse, but still, it woudn't cause him any substantial pain. The only problem is that it would make him a prime target for starving Zombies...
